First Aid Training.

New to Bendi Driver Training, our First Aid course syllabus provides delegates with the necessary knowledge and experience to provide the vital care needed in the first minutes after an incident. An increasingly popular and necessary course, BDT now bring their full expertise within training and assessment to this area.

The Course

Our First Aid syllabus runs over two days, with delegates being assessed during the whole of that time, using a variety of methods, practical sessions, role play and written multiple-choice questions. Practical assessment will focus mainly on the Recovery Position, CPR and treatment of bleeds and wounds. A more detailled breakdown of the two-day syllabus is given here:

Our First-Aid Instructors

Our standards of training are extremely high, something we pride ourselves on and recognise that our Instructors are key to. To this end, inline with our other courses, all of our Instructors will have a minimum Combined 7302 City and Guilds Certificate in Delivery Adult Learning First Aid. In addition, most trainers will also go through our two-week Instructional Technqiues and Assessment training course. As there are currently no formal requirements for first aid trainers, we feel that this virtually guarantees training that is head and shoulders above the competition.

Course materials

All delegates will receive a first aid pocket-book, in the same format as our popular and well-respected forklift training offering. In addition, Instructors will carry with them all relevant training aids to ensure as realistic and worthwhile training experience as possible.
